New ALBUM «Playin' To Win»
Montréal, September 30th, 2025 — Quebec singer-songwriter Sorrene is releasing today her very first album, Playin' To Win. For this debut, the artist explored country music through different colors: rock, gospel, and pop. Her goal was to create a vibrant sonic palette capable of reaching a wide audience and evoking a range of emotions. The songs tackle powerful themes such as injustice, the search for oneself, and universal reflections.
Sorrene co-wrote all the tracks with her collaborators Samuel Mendosa, Daniel James Alexander Stobbs (who also produced the album), and Jake Mathews (except for Caught Me On a Bad Day), which was written for her by Jake Mathews, Joshua Shaun Osborne (Sam Hunt, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban), and Trevor Joseph Rosen (Old Dominion). With Playin' To Win and its distinctive sound, Sorrene cements her place in Quebec’s country music scene with fierce confidence, ready to break barriers and establish herself as a must-watch artist.

Nouveau single «Break Like A bottle»

New single «Till The Wheels Fall Off»
«Till the Wheels Fall Off» is the story of perseverance and determination. No matter the pitfalls, detours or storms, the goal remains the same. To always keep moving forward.
It describes the route of Sorrene's musical journey which hinges on the attitude of «nothing can stop me», until the wheels literally fall off. With lyrics such as:
«Keep driving till the wheels fall off,
keep rolling when the roads get rough»
Sorrene is making a strong affirmation to just keep going no matter what! The only person that can stop you is yourself!
«Till the Wheels Fall Off» was written by Sorrene, Jake Mathews, Daniel James Alexander Stobbs and Samuel Mendoza and was recorded at Productions SM. The music was produced by award winning producer Daniel James Alexander Stobbs and owner of SM productions Samuel Mendoza.

New single «On va y aller» (french song)
A song with a very catchy earworm, music that makes your legs tingle.
It’s the story of a dynamic and independent girl who had lost all hope of thriving in a more serious romantic relationship. And there you have it, during an evening, a spark is born between two people.
Through an unexpected love at first sight, the desire develops between them to go on an adventure under the sky to magnificent and romantic places, to dance and sing. She thinks she has found the person with whom she can experience strong feelings, sharing and freedom. She wants to believe that it’s possible and that it won’t just be for one night. She wants to try and giving this romance a chance. That’s when she says to herself: «On va y aller»
«Un pied dans porte un samedi soir. Habillée dans ma robe noire. J’avais perdu tout espoir. Nos yeux dansaient pour se croiser. Traçant un chemin pour se jaser. Nos âmes se sont enlacées. J’ai envie d’y croire, viens on va s’rapprocher»
Sorrene: «I wrote this song thinking of women who want to embrace life and who are looking for someone to accompany them in their craziest ideas. I hope everyone finds the person who will help them flourish and who will not deprive them of their light.»

New single «Please You»
This song is about toxic relationships, a pretty heavy subject. Living in a relationship with a person you admire and esteem, whether in love, friendship, family or even at work, and ultimately realizing that for this person, you will never be good enough and never up to par.
Why should you treat her like a king or queen when her behaviors cast a negative shadow on you.
This person doesn't make us grow and always drags us down!
«Please You» is a powerful anthem of liberation and self-affirmation, for those who live under the weight of this type of person, and for whom it's time to break free from this influence!
Please You was written in collaboration with Samuel Mendoza, guitarist and musical director with whom I have worked for several years now. We have developed this writing bond and several other titles are to come. It is the result of the work of an entire team of professionals and enthusiasts. We find on guitars - Samuel Mendoza, drums Mario Telaro, Bass - Cédrick Tremblay, Mandolin - Samuel Mendoza Backing Vocals - Daniel James Alexander Stobbs, Sorrene, Samuel Mendosa, on musical production - Daniel James Alexander Stobbs, Samuel Mendoza, Sébastien Dalphond, Arrangements - Samuel Mendoza, Daniel James Alexander Stobbs, Recording and mixing engineer - Sébastien Dalphond, Mastering Engineer- Luc Tellier
