With a sound rooted in Rock and New Country, Sorrene offers a unique signature. «In new country, there are hints of pop, to which I add a touch of rock, creating a blend that feels entirely my own. On this album, we even drew inspiration from gospel for certain tracks. I wanted to deliver a diverse musical palette capable of sparking a wide range of emotions.»

I had the honour of being selected for this incredible journey. At the blind auditions, my interpretation of «My Church» by Marren Moris captivated all four coaches, who turned around to discover me. As a member of Marc Dupré’s team, I emerged victorious from both the duels and battle rounds, securing my spot in the finals. Thanks to my four captivating performances, I was able to showcase my unique talents and stand out from the rest.
A Myriad of Possibilities
My musical journey with «The Voice» began with a bold transformation, as I shifted from POP to a fusion of Rock and New Country. This audacious move opened up a world of creative possibilities, leading to the production of my new album, which seamlessly blends these two genres. Here are some of my original songs:

It's in September 2023 that I present «Caught Me On A Bad Day» my first song Rock/New Country
This song is about how anyone can have a bad day, like ANYONE, and that’s okay! The important thing is to realize «That's the way that it goes sometimes, you can't always walk in the sunshine» as the powerful lyrics of the song say.

A Smile Brings Good Feeling
In January 2024, my new original composition Country-Gospel co-written with Kevin Bazinet is available on all digital platforms. Surrounded by a solid team of musicians such as; the renowned Olivier Savoie Campeau on drums, Guyaume Huot on guitar, Cédrick Tremblay on base and the multi-instrumentalist, Kevin Bazinet, we find him on guitar and organ. In addition to directing, he co-produced A Smile Brings Good Feelings with Réseau VoixLà.

April 26, 2024, new original composition «Please You». This song is a powerful anthem of liberation and self-affirmation, for those who live under the weight of this type of person, and for whom it's time to break free from this influence!

May 9, 2025, my new single «Till the Wheels Fall Off» tells the story of perseverance and determination. No matter the pitfalls, detours or storms, the goal remains the same. To always keep moving forward.
It describes the route of Sorrene's musical journey, which hinges on the attitude of «nothing can stop me», until the wheels literally fall off. With lyrics such as:
«Keep driving till the wheels fall off,
keep rolling when the roads get rough»
Sorrene is making a strong affirmation to just keep going no matter what! The only person that can stop you is yourself!
«Till the Wheels Fall Off» was written by Sorrene, Jake Mathews, Daniel James Alexander Stobbs and Samuel Mendoza and was recorded at Productions SM. The music was produced by award-winning producer Daniel James Alexander Stobbs and owner of SM productions Samuel Mendoza.
New Country Fans Show
In November 2023, I presented my new show in a full band format. I interpret, in my own way, the greatest hits that rock the world of Rock/New Country and some of my original titles. «Sorrene Live» then becomes the new version of this show which is now presented in several locations.

Rouville Country Rising Star
I had the GREAT PRIVILEGE OF BEING THE RISING STAR OF ROUVILLE COUNTRY 2024. This nomination allowed me to sing alongside the legendary Patrick Norman, it's much more than just a musical moment. From the moment I joined him on stage, I was enveloped by his charisma, his rich experience, and his human warmth. It was an unforgettable experience, magnified by the interpretation of this great classic that is «Quand on est en amour», and by the palpable love of his audience.

My Very Beginnings
Music has been a part of my life since my early years. I began performing in musical theatre when I was 4 years old. I had a leading role in a movie, I did commercials, and I had some small roles on television. I even had the opportunity to sing in one of them at the age of 5.
I have participated in several singing competitions, among which I received first prize and I am proud of it. But above all, performing on stage, being in contact and sharing with people, being recognized by the public, that's really what gives me the most joy and pleasure, that's where I feel at home.
I started composing original songs, both lyrics and melody, when I was around thirteen. My very first creation is included in my first pop EP, which was released in July 2021. This album also contains some of my previous compositions, which have been released online since June 2020. This experience marks the beginning of an exciting new adventure.

Thank you for all the support and love you have given me and still give me. My adventure at La Voix ends in the quarter-finals, but not my projects. Looking forward to seeing you back on stage.
I am grateful to have been chosen for the Knockout Rounds. It's one more opportunity for me to perform and to surpass myself, on the stage, and to be with my wonderful coach Marc Dupré.
Yessss! My adventure at La Voix continues! I won my duel by performing Elvis's song "If I Can Dream" with my partner Randy.
It is a privilege to be part of this great adventure of La Voix 9.
